Christmas
at the
Museum!
Come learn about the history of McDuffie County while your kids (ages 6+) enjoy a free holiday craft Saturday, Dec. 13, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. OR 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.!
While the kids create pomanders (clove-studded oranges) and hear a story about this ancient holiday decoration, our docents will take the adults around the museum for a free tour. Your kids will also decorate cookies, and your family can take a holiday photo.
If you're interested in a historic, good time, visit the Museum at 121 Main Street in downtown Thomson! The deadline to register is Monday, Dec. 8. We hope to see you there!
Youth Leadership McDuffie
We are so proud to have hosted Youth Leadership McDuffie as part of their History Day! We loved having them here and answering their questions. Thank you to Board Member Lewis Smith for leading these students on their tour of the museum.
